Accommodation in Durgadevi
Durgadevi gate is the entry gate to this zone, which is located at the distance of 28 km from the nearest city of Ramnagar which makes it the farthest zone from the Ramnagar. This zone has also a forest rest house named Lohachaur forest house where tourists can enjoy the night stay and get the utmost experience of the dense raw forest. In order to enjoy the day Jeep safari or the night stay in the forest rest house, the tourists have to obtain the permit to enter the park. It is better to get the booking done in advance as there is a huge rush of tourists in the park, especially, on weekends and holidays. The Durgadevi Zone is open for the tourists from 15th October to 15th June every year. During the monsoon season, the park is closed for any tourism activity.

There is no Night Stay Accommodation is available in Durga Devi Ecotourism Zone yet.
FLORA & FAUNA
Sheesam, Dhak, Sisoo, and Khair are the most visible trees found in Corbett. A lot of other varieties are found around the park which contributes to the diversity of species. The only conifer found in the park is Chir Pine, and is seen on ridge tops like Chir Choti and declines in Gajar Sot. The higher reaches near Kanda shelters Banj Oak growing, which is a typical Himalayan species. Kanju (Holoptelia Integrifolia), Jamun (Syzygium Cumini) and Aamla (Emblica Officinalis) are seen growing in major areas. Other main types of trees in Corbett Park.
Corbett National Park is home for many wonderful as well as endangered species of animals. The natural bounty and vast landscapes provide perfect habitat for wildlife here.
Royal Bengal Tiger, Asian Elephant, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Chital, Sambar Deer, Wild Boar, Black Faced Monkey, Rheus Monkey, Wild Pig and Jackal etc.
Peacock, Jungle Foul, White Bush Chat, Oriental Pied, Emerald Dove, Red Wattle Lapwing, the Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Rested Kingfisher, Indian Shirks, Indian Alpine Swift, Woodpecker, laughing Thrush, Vulture, Parakeet, kales Pheasant, Oriole, Common Grey Hornbill, Duck, Stork, Cormorant, Parrot, Indian Roller, Teal, Seagull etc.
SAFARI FORMALITIES
- Visitors must be carry entry permits with ID document, which mentioned in permit.
- Day visit Entry permit for Dhikala Zone is only permitted for the tourists staying inside the forest rest house
- Entry permit to the Corbett National Park is provisional and it can be cancelled or changed without any prior announcement.
- Entry permits belongs to you not transferrable for others.
- Entry to the forest area strictly prohibited after sunset
